Hmm, I thought harriers were retired.

Only the RAF retired their Harriers. The USMC still operates theirs and, with the F-35 Thunderpig taking its time getting service-ready (if it ever does), the Harrier will likely remain on strength with the USMC well into the 2020s.

Yeah I checked it out after the fact. Us bought all the retired uk harriers and plan for them to be in service till 2030 Edited by GandD

Next time the pilots need to head out to sea and run until they are out of fuel and go down with the planes.

They dropped in 50 feet of water away from the coral because they were almost out of fuel

What happened is nothing like is presented.
