Hello there everyone,

Good day to all!

I sent my AOS package 2 weeks ago and still have not received NOA1.How long will it take for me to receive it?I checked with USPS and they have sent it already to USCIS after 3 days.I am pretty worried. Is there a way I can check it online?

Thanks.

I am confused... did you get your K1 visa and are now in the US and married? Please fill in your timeline so we can help you better.

I'm sorry to hear that you still have not received an NOA after weeks of mailing your AOS forms. If you filed the E-Notification form/ G-1145, I think it is standard to receive a NOA within a week from the delivery of your papers. You also have to factor in a little delay if you delivered to the lockbox as opposed to delivering via the express (not USPS) mailing address which is actually received by a mailroom, which means it is received and sorted automatically. As soon as they send you the electronic notification that your application has been accepted they concurrently send the NOA receipt through the mail which will take another week or so before it gets to you. I have also filed my AOS papers about a week ago, July 15, 2013. It took me about a 1 and 1/2 weeks to finish collating all documents and putting together the packet. I had only completed everything the weekend before that and sent it via fedex express the monday following. It got there a day after (overnight shipping) and 3 days after I received an NOA text and email. I am still waiting for the receipt in the mail but I think it will be here within this week. Just be patient and check your mail often. If after 30 days (that is the period provided for in the USCIS website) you still have not received your NOA in the mail then try calling them using the USCIS hotline. Goodluck!
