Hi to all VJ members!

I got a question about addresses. I am from the Philippines currently working in Indonesia.

So on my G-325A I mentioned that I presently reside in Indonesia from 2010 to present and Philippines from 1998- 2013. But on my letter of Intent, I mentioned I reside in the Philippines because that's my permanent address and I will have the letter notarized there. I am afraid the USCIS will think there's a discrepancy on our forms. Please help us so we can file the petition the soonest. My fiance' and I are stuck at filling out forms. Thank you

Question (am I reading this wrong?) how did you reside in two places at the same time?

Indonesia from 2010-present (so 2013)

Phillipines from 98-2013?

Did you maintain two residences or something between 2010-now?

Where did you LIVE? Where did you get mail sent to, where did government issued id say you lived?

Hello. My fiance is working and residing in Maldives. She has been working there for 3 years. What I did was put her address of Maldives on all forms. This way if there was some sort of descrepancy that USCIS will have guarantee that she is residing only there. Once everything starts happening for us (NOA2) then she will of course have to return to Manila to finish up. But in my opinion I would put the address where you are working currently. Don't fudge the paperwork. Keep it clean and you should not have any problems.

I am not a permanent resident in Indonesia. I started working here since 2010 and renew my contract yearly. I go home to the Philippines once or twice a year. My fiance' and I we're advised to have the letter of intent notarized in the Philippines but it shows on my G-325A that my present address is Indonesia.

So G-325A form on the section "APPLICANT'S RESIDENCE LAST FIVE YEARS" I will mention Indonesia address from 2010-present right? How about my Philippine address? I also need to mention this since that is my permanent address? Ugh I am really confused. This is the only thing that's keeping us from filing the I-129 packet yet:(

HELP!!!

can I have your e mail add guys and have you look at my forms. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease :)..Thank you

Hi!

First and foremost, I would like to tell you that the letter of intent to marry is not required to be notarized... We submitted, I-129F and we were approved although our letter of intent to marry was not notarized! So, don't worry about that!

Second, I have put the same thing as you... on my G-325A form... i mean there are "overlapping" on the dates coz i felt that that is the truth and we haven't had any problems with our I-129F...

i.e Bahrian 2006-2012

Philippines 1980- present

Be confident... I think USCIS adjucator knows better... I mean, they would understood since you have also declared on the information that you were working abroad.

Third, in my opinion, the address on your letter of intent to marry should be your current address... Indonesia, if it's indonesia... and if all throughout the process you will be there! If not, there's always a choice to update your address... just go to the USCIS website...

Hello!

So it's okay if I fill out that present address section like this?

Indonesia 2010- Present

Philippines 1998-2013

Sorry I'm repeating myself. I just want to make sure that I am doing this correctly.

If I want to have the interview in the Philippines should I write my Philippine address on the letter of intent? On our I-129F we mentioned the consulate in Manila, Philippines.

Thank you very much for anwering my questions :)

Yes that is fine. Just as long as you give the address you can explain it later when going through your interview. Its not that big a deal.

Yes Rose works at the spa in the Sheraton hotel there in Maldives. I only put her address in Maldives on the form.

Yes, as I have told you I put the same thing in our application and it was approved... see my example with my previous reply... anyway, it is the truth and it is justifiable so no worries... you don't lie... ;)

As long as you put Manila in your I-129F form authomatically you will be interviewed in Manila... as per your letter of intent, i guess it will not harm you if you will put Indonesia address since that is your current location upon filing... you will make another/new letter of intent to marry for your interview by that time you are already in the Phils. so write your Phil. address... if they happen to ask about the change of address as I have said you can always justify/ explian.
