Ah, I didn't see Russia, as it was engulfed by the Philippine number above it lol.

Unfortunately I cannot edit, so I'll do it here.

1. Philippines - 3144 total VJ K-1 applicants

2. United Kingdom - 1642 total VJ K-1 applicants

3. Canada - 1128 total VJ K-1 applicants

4. Russia - 625 total VJ K-1 applicants

5. China - 573 total VJ K-1 applicants

Guess it doesn't matter how your country is spelled anymore, does it? biggrin.png

Thanks. smile.png

I think it gets misspelled more often than its spelled correctly - I've told my wife it might just save some grief if they would just change the name of the country to match the use everywhere else.

So in that list Philippines for sure belongs, same with Russia, and I guess China (though it is a surprise there are so many K-1s what with the woman shortage and all).

Canada and UK I would bet those are about 50/50 Male to Female K-1s and probably those males would not qualify as "Hot-Blooded" in the OPs original post...

What about Ukraine, Vietnam, and the Dominican republic? The later being in the top 10 of all countries for visas with a population of less than 10 million.

The Philippines is a perfect storm - Asian, English speaking, previous American ties, and a third world economy.

The top three are all English speaking, which coincidentally are the only three with at least a thousand VJ applicants. It is much more easier to meet and develop a relationship with people online who speak English.

As for other reasons, indeed, Americans love Asians, the UK and Canada has obvious ties to the U.S. (as does the Philippines), and the other two are just large countries with a sizeable enough portion that just wants to get out due to their economy.

What about Tuvalu?

Polynesian which means they have a genetic disposition to obesity.. Hot Blooded American Males (HBAMs) don't like fatties.. Tuvalu does not allow homosexual activity between males but women are free to go to town so it won't interrupt any hot threesomes that may be planned.

Canadians are actually pretty nice unless you get shacked up with one of those Quebecoise. I think as soon as Canadians cross the border they turn into know-it-alls just like Americans though.

Those are pretty high relative to their populations, yes, but not as many Americans end up pursuing a K-1 visa with them as the other countries I listed.

After my first visit, my brother in law, wanted me to come back and marry my wife there. He did not like the idea of her coming her unmarried.

I explained to him it would add almost 2 years to the process as it would be almost a year before I could come back, and I did not know if I could be away from work long enough to jump thru all the hoops that are required for getting married there.

We comprimised on

a. I would marry her as soon as she got here

b. I would come back the next year for a wedding in Cebu. No paperwork needed as it was just a ceremony.

Once they got to know me, and realized what a nice guy I was, they told me later on we did not have to do part B. I still did it because I had promised.

We are going back in November for several months. Who knows may stay

In no particular order

1 Canada - the babes know how to hold up their own in any discussion!

2 Britain - the accent and those demure English rose!

3 France- chic women , and males with a certain savouir faire

4 Thailand - lots of cute lady-boys if you can't gat a woman

6 Italy - hot bikini models

Prove me wrong!

Well...ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR....SIX?

WRONG!

As far as the opinions of American men I hope you are right. It means more hot Ukrainian chicks for clever American men.

Your looking at K-1 visas listed on VJ .. what about the I-130s? I saw the national data on those two combined a few days ago somewhere, looking for it now.. I did find data for family based visas and it about the same for the combined K-1/I-130:

The top ten for last year:

Mexico

China

India

Philippines (57,000)

Dominican Republic (41,000)

Cuba

Vietnam

Haiti

Colombia

South Korea

The next ten:

Jamaica

Iraq

Burma

El Salvador

Pakistan

Bangladesh

Ethiopia

Nigeria

Canada

Iran

Only one English speaking country in the top 20 - it shares a 2000 mile border with us and still could only manage 19th.

The OP needs to clarify the definition of what a HBAM is as far as the type of country they would love.. ones without a bunch of left leaning p*ssy men that allows guns or the ones most ripe for looting the hotties??

And again the justification of France making either of those lists would be nice....

Interesting, thanks. There are not nearly as many I-130 applicants on VJ as there are K-1 applicants. Why, I don't know. But it makes sense that most family based visas coming out of Mexico are spousals (as opposed to fiance).

The Philippines is an English speaking country by the way.

That's so odd that there is such a diff between the two

Maybe ir/cr reflect more immigrants bringing over their family after being sponcered to PR by their employer?
