Seems to me the logical way to ascertain this would be to check the statistics on which countries had the most fiancee visas and spousal visas.

It also seems to me you probably didn't guess a single one in the top 5.

I would think Canada would be in top 5

Well if we were going to use actual statistics on here instead of just one person's guess...

1. Philippines - 3144 total VJ K-1 applicants

2. United Kingdom - 1642 total VJ K-1 applicants

3. Canada - 1128 total VJ K-1 applicants

4. China - 573 total VJ K-1 applicants

5. Columbia - 520 total VJ K-1 applicants

I'm not sure which class of white males you are trying to stereotype but C'mon... nobody really likes or respects France... They are off the list!

Ah, I didn't see Russia, as it was engulfed by the Philippine number above it lol.

Unfortunately I cannot edit, so I'll do it here.

2. United Kingdom - 1642 total VJ K-1 applicants

3. Canada - 1128 total VJ K-1 applicants

4. Russia - 625 total VJ K-1 applicants

5. China - 573 total VJ K-1 applicants

Guess it doesn't matter how your country is spelled anymore, does it? :D

Thanks. :)

The reasons are obvious for the Philippines. Hot young asian girls that can speak English.

The Philippines is a perfect storm - Asian, English speaking, previous American ties, and a third world economy.

The top three are all English speaking, which coincidentally are the only three with at least a thousand VJ applicants. It is much more easier to meet and develop a relationship with people online who speak English.

As for other reasons, indeed, Americans love Asians, the UK and Canada has obvious ties to the U.S. (as does the Philippines), and the other two are just large countries with a sizeable enough portion that just wants to get out due to their economy.
