Assembling I-130 package...how is this for bonafide evidence?

Thanks a lot for the reply. I appreciate it.

Does it hurt to send in phone records and money transfer receipts when they've only been going on for 2-3 months? I decided to only start sending my wife money once we were married, as I didn't want to send money to someone who I wasn't commited to through marriage yet. If that makes any sense. In regards to the 2-3 months of phone calls, since we use skype as our main method of communication the phone calls aren't anywhere near as ongoing as the skype calls and we don't have that long of a history of them. I just don't want either of those to be a red flag or anything. Maybe I'm overthinking things, but I tend to do that a lot and would rather err on the side of caution than not. Thanks again!

At the bottom is a list of all sorts of evidence including emails, phone records etc... Send a lot in with the DS-230 package if you're approved at the USCIS. If you can an RFE at the USCIS you can send this in at that time as well.

If that's what you've got should be ok.. If they want more they'll ask for it.

Honestly, I can't think of a lot more. That's pretty close to everything we have. If they don't accept that I don't know what they'll accept.

Your list is really good. Remember you only need to send photocopies so even in the letters that are special to you guys, send photocopies, don't send the originals.

:) Best wishes

Rysiu227, remember to make copies of everything FOR YOURSELF...from your cheque, passport photos, the I-130 form...everything. You should have an exact replica of the I-130 package that you'll be sending to USCIS for your records. All the best! :-) ~~~

Thank you very much for the replies so far! I was also going to send in a copy of my car title showing her as a co-owner, if it's possible to do with the DMV. Anyone else have some input? Thanks again.

You're sending about ten times more proof than we did, so unless there is some reason for them to suspect fraud of some kind for some reason that you haven't mentioned, you have nothing to worry about. Don't send any original documentsl to USCIS, ONLY photocopies..

PS My wife is Polish too, but her family emigrated to Australia when she was 8. Good luck!

Do you think I'm sending too much and should taper the package down a little? I'm honestly not sure what to do. I always try to be better safe than sorry. But I don't know if there is such a thing as too much with the USCIS. Thanks for the reply!

Not at all, send what you have listed, just make sure they aren't originals. I've been living with my wife in Australia for almost 2yrs, so our proofs were more joint accounts and lease, our son's birth certificate, stuff like that. We will send more to the nvc including original documents, and she will bring a suitcase of evidence (slight exaggeration) to her interview. My comment was more about not stressing. If they need more evidence, they'll ask for it. Good luck!

PS we have All documents scanned and saved to 3 different hard drives, Google drive and Dropbox, so I know about overkill. Lol
