Hello guys,

I am not at the AOS I-864 stage, however I would like to ask a question pertaining to Tax affidavits. My plan is to of course fill in my taxed income for 2010, 2011 and 2012.

I am also planing to just submit Tax Transcripts , rather than sending actual 1040s and the whole (1099, W2,all schedules ..etc) paperwork. I am worried about this approach, because my father ( applicant) lives in Algeria and when I checked the embassy's website ( our process is USCIS not consulate based) I noticed the embassy mentions tax form 1040 only !

Should I worry about it ? below I attached the embassy's IV visa section website. I dont know if the website is just not designed with great detail.

The section pertaining to tax forms is towards the bottom of the page.

So the question is... would it be a big deal if I provide Transcripts if the consulate does not mention them at all online. My understanding is they conduct interviews only,

the NVC is the one that process and investigate my material facts.

Thank you for any thoughts or inputs you may have .

The tax transcript is fine. The embassy will accept it.
