sponsor income requirement

Hi everybody

Recently my family got approved for a USA visa processing through I-130 forms. and I'm the petitioner so I will fill out I-864 form soon. And my recent federal tax return 2012 doesn't meet the ability to maintain sufficient income required. But the one for 2011 dose. my question is if I submit the copy of both federal tax returns, is that will make me able to fill affidavit of support as the only sponsor , and I'm not will need any other joint sponsors.

Your 2012 taxes must be above the poverty line if its not as u stated you must get a co sponser because they can deny her visa at the interview because of that good luck

What about your current income? Are you on target to make over the poverty line this year?

I think if you are over this year you might not need a sponsor, thus Penguin's comment.

Moroccan embassy is extremely picky on income and if you didn't make enough on 2012 there is a good chance they will make you get a cosponsor and put you in AP (like they did me) you are better off to get a cosponsor so that everything is approved. I was approved of my income at the NVC level (after submitting my own letter explaining my income and my bosses projection of 2013) and it wasn't enough for them, they are at their own discretion and they seem more keen to deny than to approve. If you do make enough for 2013 then hopefully they will overlook the fact you didn't for 2012 but the embassy is very tough and I would do more than less.
