Our ROC was filed 8 months ago and our recent inquiry was wait another 45 days. FYI that puts us 30 days away from the wife filing for USC. Just how complicated is a ROC to review? I think it is a time for a rule and policy change, I.E. your renewal should be in the third year, and you pick a track either USC or ROC and remain a GC holder. If you have no changes address, marriage, arrest etc. it should be take the money and a picture and issue a new card. If you move to USC the standard investigation. When dream act people can have 2 DIU's, up to 9 counts of forgery with immigration documents, and other criminal violations, why jack with the honest USC people.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Hi !

Welcome to VisaJourney.com, the ROC edition.

What yer stepping in, has been stepped in already, by others, here, prior. It's very common.

What is it, you ask ?

That wonderful calendar, to become a USCitizen, whilst waiting for the ROC paperwork to actually get reviewed.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Another bigdog? Now there are three of you. :)

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Not ready for ROC yet and no desire for USC ever. Agree on the track thing though. It'll be ROC only for us; no desire at all for USC. Plan to retire to Chengdu. When has Immigration ever been fair? Laws are based on politics. Politicians today are either narrow-minded and special interest based, or else they are quickly disillusioned and leave office. Have no beef with Dream Act children caught up in politics. Most are hard-working, studious, and law-abiding, born here or arrived here through no fault of their own. They should be able to pay at least as much as the Non-Dreamers and get in back of the line behind the Non-Dreamers. But they should not have to wait 20 or 30 years. If the system wasn't so broken in the first place, their parents would have been able to legally come here and there wouldn't be any Dreamers.

Is this the same bigdog that tried to talk Anonymous from legally petitioning USCIS to change its habits that he is now complaining about?

I think it is.
