Our priority date is December 27, 2012 and we haven't received the interview letter yet. We only saw the status changed online mentioning it has been sent. This will be an AOS interview as I am currently working in the states on H1B.

Does anyone, from their experience, have some questions that are asked at these interviews?

One question I have - which I am hoping some of those with experience of AOS interviews in US would be able to answer - does the officer ask for specific proof(s) or do we have to proactively present it and/or ask if they would like to see it? We don't want to overwhelm the office and also don't want to miss a chance to present the facts.

Thanks

Karachif2a

My husband was approved for the visa at the interview (oct 23) and his visa was issued on the 24th.

Questions were :

Who is sponsoring you?

How long have you been married?

How do you know each other and how did you meet?

How many times have you met since you got married? When was the most recent meet up?

Do you have any children?

Does your wife work currently?

Do you work currently?

How did your wife receive her immigration status?

What does your wife's father do? (Cosponsor that's why they asked plus I received my green card through him)

Have you ever traveled to the US?

He was writing down everything my husband was saying even the fact that we are expecting a baby etc. Then he said congratulations your visa has been approved and you will receive your passport in 7 to 10 business days. Co took my husband's passport and gave him an informational leaflet for him to read.

Very thankful to God :).
