Hello, I've been in the US for 2.5 years, first with a J1 visa, after a year and a half, I went back to my country and changed it for an F1 to start school. I started school last August in Los Angeles, and after the first semester was over, I didn't have enough money to pay my classes for my second semester (last Febraruy). By that time I had been dating J. for almost 2 years and we decided to get married (last February too); now, I'm applying for my green card. Do you think there is going to be a problem to get my green card because I am not going to school anymore (My visa is not expired, but I'm not a full time student) ?

Thanks :)

Hi, Dani PG. Did you already have your interview?

I am in the exact same situation as you, except my F-1 is still valid and I've been debating about taking a break from school this semester to save from the international tuiton.

I would just like to know what happened to your case. Thanks!
