Hello guys! im gathering information for my parents to apply for B type tourist visa to come visit me. and so far im not so clear about the related documents to the form DS-160. so beside passport, photograph, and the both confirmation letters, what else should they bring with them to the interview? because i heard that i need to write an invitaion letter for my parents to show them, and show them my parents assets to convince them that my parents are going to go back and/or a bunch of money deposit in the bank. can you guys please share some experimental idea. thank you

No invitation letter needed. What they should bring is ties to home/ proof they will return. Such as a letter from the employer stating when they are expected back, house or business ownership, proof of other kids/ minor grandkids that are at home etc.

Yep you are looking at it back to front.

they havent started yet, but my plan is to have them get a bank statement proving that they have some money to spend for the trip, a letter from my mom employer stating that she is a good employee and is asking for 2 months off and will return to work, and my dad is retired so he cant get anything i guess. and im thinking of having them bring the hard copy of the deed of their house too(to prove that they are coming back). thats all i can think of right now.
