Hey everyone...

So I'm currently AOS-ing and had received an RFE to do with tax returns, nothing major. It's taking a short while for the accountant to send the necessary and was wondering if my work permit and advanced parole would be put on hold during this time too? They are separate forms, and didn't think they would be held up...just wondering as I'm currently sitting on the review dates and nothing is happening?

Any advice? Have a great weekend :)

Yes, an RFE can hold up the processing of the EAD and AP too.

~ Moving from K-1 Process to AOS Family Based- topic is about AOS, not K-1 ~

I've seen a few with RFEs that still got their EAD in the meantime, but don't hold your breath. Just cross your fingers. :)

My husband sent in 09, 10, 11 and a letter from his boss saying how much he earned in 2012, he hadn't received his tax returns back when we sent the paperwork, he currently has an extension filed, and it's something we expected to happen. Just a bit disappointed if this is going to hold up my EAD and AP.

This was to prove how much my husband earned during these years, should have made that clear :)

I'm hoping something like this wouldn't halt proceedings...fingers are well and truly crossed! I'd like to try and visit family at the end of September, so just keeping an eye on things :)

Oh ok. I was curious. Because I only sent 10, 11 and 12 with mine. I think with it being middle of the year they are expecting everyone to have 2012 filed already. So that's probably why? I'd assume so. Just hoping mine is ok! :) Good luck with everything.

Have you done biometrics yet?

We didn't send any of '12 so I think that's why we got it, I had a sneaky feeling we would. We filed on 16 May got confirmation on 23rd May, RFE on 14 June and Bio's on 21st June, that's easy it took 20 mins, photograph and fingerprints - no worries there :)

Hope that gives you a perspective compared to how you're doing, thanks and good luck with yours :)

That's good to know, so even if I'm delayed. it won't take too long after they receive the info? :)
