New I-129F form different

I just completed the i-129F form today. I liked some of the features of the new form. I don't remember seeing the Alien Fiancees Mailing Address portion on the old form. This was important to me because my fiancee lives in a part of her city that does not receive mail and courier packages. She has to use her business address for all packages. As far as the phone number portion, there were enough spaces for a Philippine phone number excluding the country code. I just wrote the + country code in front of the area code brackets. Some of the spaces they give you are not big enough but the instructions say to attach a signed and dated continuation sheet for each item that needs more space. I had 4 continuation sheets.

Overall I think it is an improvement over the old form.

I am just beginning this process even though we have been engaged since November 2012 and I have been reading this forum since that time. I have learned from the mistakes of others and hope to avoid mistakes of my own.

Hopefully all things go well and we all see timely approvals.

This new I-129F is horrible. It has so many mistakes and is unclear in many places. For instance, why does it only allow me to choose U.S. states when entering my Alien Fiancee's mailing address?! Whoever done this form obviously did not take the time to TEST the form for usability before putting it out there. Many fields are not long enough and many sections are not clear where they end and the new one begins (e.g. fiancée's prior spouse 2). I'll have to write in some areas instead of type.

What is "In Care of Name"?

I wish there is an example of this new form.

I think I'm going to fill out the new one because that quote from the website doesn't make sense either: "The current edition is dated 06/13/13."Ummm, no it's not, it's dated 06/30/2013, and that's not the current edition, I think that has been on there for a while too.ir

it expires 6/30/201 but the edition is actually 6/22/13 look at the bottom of every page.
