The one K-1 adjustment applicant needs 6 total passport photos, 2 for the I-485, 2 for the EAD and 2 for the AP. Add up the ones for your K-2 applications accordingly.

I will let you know when the i-485 I filed is finished :-) I filed for AOS, EAD and I-485. The first two have been apporoved and the EAD has been updated to production ordered for the new card. I only sent two passort photos total with the application. We shall see........

Some people have been approved with only 2 passport photos, and others have received an RFE for not sending more than 2.

We had success last year by following the excellent VJ Guides and sending six (6) photos each for my family's K-1/K-2 AOS process last year. The price of those photos was slight in comparison to the check that I had to make payable to the US Department of Homeland Security for $2140 ($1070 @)...

YMMV.

Good luck.
