Who's taking arms up against the government? I'm not. I don't know why you guys keep assuming that's what I'm talking about. That's the last thing I want to do.

Fighting the government when there are still so many stupid people around would be useless. You have to get rid of the stupid people first. I'm a big fan of educating them but a crucial part of education is following through. It saddens me to think we're probably already beyond that possibility but I'd definitely prefer that over a shooting war with anyone.

Why? I am close to retirement age. I need stability. Why would I risk that by taking arms against the very government that is going to keep me alive for the next few decades, all at taxpayer expense?

Because its one of those ideas that looks good on paper, yet in application it falls apart completely.

There's 300 million people in the US and 100,000 that want to succeed. They need a math class.

When you believe everyone else is stupid it may be time for reevaluation.

Educating them with your ideas? I think I'll pass...and so would 70-80% of America.

I think your ideas are skewed by a very narrow view of who America really is.

It's true. The farther you get out on the fringe, the less people are standing behind you, something the loons on both the left and right should consider.

Generally, I don't care what the rules are, as long as they are applied consistently and persistently. Nothing worse than living by the rules as you thought they were, and finding all the rules change at the end.

Did you just read your own post? 300 million people and 100,000 that want to succeed. They need a math class.

Everyone else is stupid?

Dude, I think you're making my point for me. Again. You have to stop doing that. Everyone's going to think you like me or something and you've been trying really hard to "catch me." Keep trying. Almost there!

What?

He'd probably say it had something to do with wanting to have sex with your mother. Or is that someone else?

Yes, spell-check scr@wed me again.

What are you gonna do when the end is near and there is no working device that has a spell check? You'll be F*cked, that's what.

How about we just turn off spell check and word suggestion for a week? It could be fun. I know my dyslexia alone would produce some interesting result.

If the end was near and there was no spell checker what the ** would I care if I spelled correctly?

If the end was near, my spelling would be the least to fear.

Stupid appears to be a perspective thing.

Forest Gump said it best, stupid is as stupid does.
