Just to give you an idea on the back story to my previous post about Obama and killing white males.

Big Dog (of course not to be confused with Mr. Big Dog) has a history or intolerance towards several groups. His views on obama are really nothing compared towards his feelings on homosexuality.

My response was an attempt to make fun of the conservative white groups that think the liberals are out to destroy the white man and every thing good he stands for.

Heads up, amriki bhai will likely lure you in with similar kinds of comments. He's also not a white supremacist.

I guess I get a little sensitive about some subjects of racism.

Not to get off the topic but I'll add this about my history...

It appears to be a relevant and sensitive topic in many countries. Karee, given your background from NE Thailand, I'm sure you understand this. I met my wife after years of partying in Pattaya and Bangkok (popular tourist areas of Thailand). One of my best friends in Thailand got married and I went to his wedding in a small village in Thailand, called Korat. I ended up meeting one of his wife's best friends and long story short, I ended up dating her seriously, building an addition to her parent' home to enjoy my holidays while in Thailand and eventually marrying her.

I really enjoyed this part of the Country (NE Thailand).....a far cry from the crazy, busy tourist areas in Pattaya and Bangkok. Nonetheless, I seen how affluent Thais looked down on my wife, as her skin was darker, as most from NE Thailand. I was what they call a "farang" in Thailand, therefore, she was usually seen as a ####### that married a US for his money. Obviously, this was far from the truth.

I eventually want to retire in NE Thailand and build a home on huge amount of land my wife was willed from her parents. And given the attitudes of many, we chose to allow our child to be raised in US, but will continue to visit Thailand with her, so she can understand both countries.

I hear ya. I lived in Bangkok for 3 years, so I know the deal about how they look at Isaan folks etc. I figure I have about 3-4 years left working (posting on VJ all day) to have enough money to move back permanently. Also, my first girlfriend there was a ####### and did shack up with me for my money. I have no hard feelings about that. I got to shack up with hot 19 year old for a year or so. That happens alot so I can see why other Thais assume that.

Of course it's not a good idea to assume that everyone from a certain part of the country or race or whatever are all the same. I know when I go back to Thailand, I'll be treated as a second class citizen there, and I'm cool with that. My wife also has some land up in Isaan as well.

Don't get me wrong, I understand where they are coming from. As I had my share of hot 18 years olds, but I wanted to believe they wanted me for my good looks....LOL!! But I actually started visiting Thailand at a young age.

I do know it takes us about 45 minutes to reach her Village from Korat.

But she actually from the Nongtakai sub-district, Nongbunmark district and Nakhon Ratchasima Province.

I stayed there so often, I become somewhat known.....although I still get the many stares, but I grown to seriously enjoy and love this area and can see myself retired there.....but still years down the line.

But I'm one up on you.....my wife owns not only land in Isaan, but a quite few cows and chickens...LOL!!!

I even found where to buy a butt hose....LOL!!

Despite the outcry, I believe Holder, at the end of the day, is going to decline the urge to file any federal charges. I believe he made a subtle attempt in last speech to state this. But, he has to play the role and state his department is looking into it.

Obama pretty much stated the same thing in his last speech, without actually saying it outright.

I think it is obvious that it would be a very high hurdle to cross to prove federal charges in the GZ case. He has to prove intent. And, that is why both are them are mainly talking about the review of the SYG laws, and not a federal prosecution case.
