Thank you all! biggrin.png Don't you think that it may also depend on who is processing the petition? Like it varies depending on the person that is actually handling each case?

No, the process is not capricious and up to the whims of people. They follow strict guidelines.

even when I truly believe there must be a standard procedure and rules I guess some staff members are pickier than others. (Just me guessing)

I sent the same exact documents that you have sent, except I added one letter from our joint bank account. I sent only 2 pictures(without names or date stamp on the back of them).everything went fine now my fiancee is waiting for her interview on August 20th 2013. As long as your relationship is legit and you are honest with your answers, you should not worry about anything.

That's great! Good luck with the interview! I did not have any joint account by then, though in my last trip we opened one to save for the wedding. But of course that does not count towards evidence of meeting within the past two years.

The I-129 requires that you prove that you met within the last two years. I think sometimes that

the adjudicator(s) applies thier own discretion to the matter. I didn't put names or dates on my

pictures. I just had alot of pictures with just me and my fiance in them. I was approved.

You are very welcome! Also, I wouldn't spend alot of time worrying about it. If you get an RFE

you simply send in the info they are requesting. Good Luck!

Thanks for the quick reply. smile.png

I included letters of intent for both of us, letters of how we met and when. Copies of my passport with stamps of entries. Copies of airline tickets. Records of phone calls between us since we begun our relationship. I sent evidence of my divorce. Evidence of citizenship.

Everything you listed is a thousand times more important than pictures.

So time to stop worrying!
