Hi LadyBlue, the biometrics its something very very simple, my app lasted 15 min? 20? Its quick! Once you are in the facility, staff check your name, take a picture of you, take your fingerprints and your electronic signature and you are free to go. Make sure to bring your passport and your app letter. Usually a month later you should be receiving your ead/ap if you request them. Otherwise just wait for your gc appointment notice. If you are adjusting from a k1 you can also be approve without interview like me

Thanks so much he has a job waiting on him as soon as the EAD card is approved. He ready to work. I thinks it easier for a woman to stay home but most men are anxious to get to work.

awww that's sweet! Finding job here is not easy even for USC. I totally understand him, usually some men don't feel comfortable with the idea of being a "housewife" hahahahah. In my case Im the beneficiary but a being a woman is easier for me to embrace it. Actually even when I've a professional career, I decided to wait cause I'm

Pregnant with our 1st child so I want to dedicate to my baby at least the 1 years. Then of course I want to find a job. But tell him to be ready cause the EAD takes no longer than a month after the biometrics (normally). Wish you guys a happy life together and good luck with the rest of his process! Once he gets his GC you have earn a 2 year USCIS free vacation :)
