My husband has his biometrics appointment next month. He wanted to know exactly what happens in this stage. So any one who has been through this stage of the process can shed some light on what to expect i really appreciate thanks again for your responses.

Hi LadyBlue, the biometrics its something very very simple, my app lasted 15 min? 20? Its quick! Once you are in the facility, staff check your name, take a picture of you, take your fingerprints and your electronic signature and you are free to go. Make sure to bring your passport and your app letter. Usually a month later you should be receiving your ead/ap if you request them. Otherwise just wait for your gc appointment notice. If you are adjusting from a k1 you can also be approve without interview like me

Thanks so much he has a job waiting on him as soon as the EAD card is approved. He ready to work. I thinks it easier for a woman to stay home but most men are anxious to get to work.

awww that's sweet! Finding job here is not easy even for USC. I totally understand him, usually some men don't feel comfortable with the idea of being a "housewife" hahahahah. Pregnant with our 1st child so I want to dedicate to my baby at least the 1 years. Then of course I want to find a job. But tell him to be ready cause the EAD takes no longer than a month after the biometrics (normally). Wish you guys a happy life together and good luck with the rest of his process!
