Issues With Medical Exam.........!!!!!!

My Fiancé and I are having our interview in Manila on Aug 8th, I am flying out for that from Seattle and my plane tickets are purchased.

The problem that seems to be surfacing is getting the medical done in time before our interview.

We are under the impression that her urine test at the exam cannot be completed unless she is at least 5 days past the absolute end of her menstrual cycle. We had everything planned out but did not think about a delay in her cycle and not ending in time....she is normally very predictable....

Because of all the stress and being sick, her cycle is delayed so far this month and is putting us in a bad timing situation, and no !!!, she is not pregnant.... :-)

Is it possible to have the exam and then go back for the urine test a couple of days later ?? Would there be a big wait for that at the hospital, or just a quick process to get it done ??

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

cjmc

Yes..She can come back after her menstruation..St. Luke's will put a note "to be back after menses"..Urine collection is just quick..they will just hand the cup then go to the toilet..It will vary on the number of people waiting in line...But i have no idea how long they it would take for them to read and analyze the urine sample..

Break from away "the plan" and get the medical done early if possible. Take the worry out of being close.

She was going to get her medical done a few weeks ago, but she got sick and now she is stressed and all this has delayed her cycle from starting..... :-( and this is now putting us in a time crunch.

I am just trying to understand my options.

There is nothing to get stressed about with the medical....

If the medical causes "too much" stress how the heck will she handle the interview and CFO?

Hank !!! It is just the whole process....what can I say...... it is not that she is stressing over the medical or the CFO, and I will be with her for the interview...it is what it is and my job is to help out wherever I can :-)

Onward......

Cheers :-)

Cjmc, i understand your and your gal's worries. Let's face it..All of the beneficiaries are really facing stress, anxiety, apprehensions about the outcome of the whole process. Bunch of "what if's" are playing on our minds.. It's never easy. It wasn't like it has been decades ago. Adding up the horror we have read in the forum..We, the beneficiaries can not help it..No matter how much we are going to tell ourselves that everything is fine and we can do it, still we can't deny the fears. It is so easy to say "you are fine" for those who have done the process..But we are facing the uncertain at this moment..

Goodluck to both of you..
