But it was issued by the Philippines Embassy in France, right? Because France government can't make Phillipines passports... So I don't think there's a mistake there. It's the same thing as what charmingangel explained.

The country who issued the passport is Philippines, even if it was "delivered" in France. It doesn't matter where it was delivered, but by who. The country who issued her passport is Philippines...

Yes it was issued in the Philippine embassy in France. But it says there "where the passport was issued" so i guess its France? im just not so sure, im considering what you just said though. Now im confused lol

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Yeah if it is a Philippines passport, I'd just leave it alone. But get that K-3 designation changed.

Oh okay. Thanks. Mom will call the CBP local office on Monday. I'll update you guys what happens next

It says "Country of issuance", right? Then it's Philippines. It doesn't make sense to put France.

Look at the FAQ https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html

"Country of Issuance- The passport country of issuance is your country of citizenship as it appears on your passport. The country of citizenship on your passport is the passport issuing authority, regardless of the country the passport was physically obtained in."

I don't think there's a better explanation than that.

Alright. Thank you! So my only problem now is the "visa type" error. Where they put "k1" in my i94 when it should be "k2"
