It is the aluen registration number of the beneficiary...u will see it in ur next receipt....

This is the new standard protocol, you get assigned one once your file gets to the assigned service center.

If your fiance is approved for the visa that number will be on his visa paperwork. When you get a second Notice of Action you'll find out what the ARN is.
