I've personally never seen anybody here say that black men don't walk after killing a white man.

I think the original post of "waiting for the DOJ to take action" was silly ... this story is old, and not even remotely like the one in the news currently.

I'm actually surprised this went to trial.

What's so different about it? Other than their race, of course.

1. The shooter didn't follow the victim.

2. The victim was committing a crime.

3. The victim was committing a crime against the personal property of the shooter.

4. The victim had two other people with him.

5. The shooter didn't shoot as soon as the confrontation happened. He drew his weapon in an effort to make the trio wait for the cops. He wasn't attempting to take matters into his own hands.

6. It is known, for a fact, since there were witnesses ... that the shooter waited until the victim charged at him to shoot.

You tell us since you posted the story. What about this story's circumstances are similar to GZ/TM?

All you folks are bringing up irrelevant issues... just like the GZ case. None of the stuff that happened minutes before the shooting matters. All that matters is what happened in the split-seconds before the shooting.

This case is VERY similar. A dude felt his life was threatened and shot the teenager who threatened it. Not sure why you can't draw the parallels there.

The real world doesn't care about what leads up to a murder? Since when?

The shooter in your story confronted the victim because he was in the process of committing a crime.

TM was not doing anything to warrant GZ confronting him.

What murder?

There was a self defense killing (or two) but there were no murders. See, you keep doing it. You keep bringing up things that are irrelevant to the incident.
