Here is a question I'm sure has been asked many many many times. Can I get my fiance, from China, a vacation Visa to come to America and make sure she likes it here and spend time with me? Here is what i know from some friends. I have friends in Indonesia who have come to the USA on a vacation visa before. They told me they were required to have $5000 dollars in US dolaars equivilant in their bank account at the time of requesting the Visa, supposedly this showed they were not a risk to stay in the USA and would return to their native country. If I deposit a significant amount of money in her bank account does she have a chance to get a vacation visa?

The answer almost most definetly would have been NO, however, since a I-129F has been filed, the then answer is simple..... NO.

YMMV

ok, how do I get the cool flags? I figured out how to attach them to my yahoo mail but not here. Sad thing is I have a degree in web design and I can't figure this one out. Wonder how many people have a college degree they never ever use? Maybe that would be a good poll question.

most have them from the website the flags are based at. do a right click and check the properties, then use a web browser to go to that link and see what they have there (you'll have to edit the link you copied from the properties to see the website tho)
