New USEM Packet?

Hey VJ

Not sure if this is a new procedure but after searching VJ I couldn't find an answer. SO I thought I would share that my fiancee received a packet from USEM. It included the letter stating her case was at the embassy and she could pay for her visa/schedule her interview. It also had the domestic violence pamphlet and a FULL copy of her I129f petition. The copy even had all the supplemental answer pages. I was pretty impressed!

I joked around, half serious of course knowing our government, that I hoped they didn't accidentally send her the original leaving them without ANY documentation on her petition. LOL

Again, just thought I'd share because I had never heard of this "new" packet/procedure.

Take care!

It must be something new, there are something like 3 or 4 here on VJ now that got that.

The letter is the embassy instructions letter? Oh... Does the letter have you MNL # on it?

This is very cool.

Did you get just the letter or was there more?

My wife eventually got a letter from the embassy, but like with you it was very late.

I see a CONGRATS is in order... APPROVED!!

Did your fiance open the envelope that said "Do not open this envelope"?

There was no "Do not open envelope" Are you referring to the packet they are send from the embassy with the visa to take to the US?

So was the embassy instructions letter in that? You know, the one where they list all the documents the beneficiary needs to bring to the interview?

EDIT: Oh nevermind. SO I see now you are directed to the website for that instead of contained in a letter. Interesting.

The letter was a basic form letter with her MNL#. It also just informed her that she could now pay for and schedule her interview. I actually received the same letter the other day. Not the same instructions you download from the USEM website.

I'll clarify, it included only the I129f petition, and supplemental answers. It did not include the G325a or any other documentation. It also had, what I assume, is the domestic violence pamphlet they have been handing out at the interview. Like I said, I was impressed!

My fiancée asked what the pamphlet was about. I explained to her if i end up being a real bad guy she can call and ask for help. I told her she can't use it if we have an argument over dinner to help her win!

these are what's inside the envelop http://philippinefiancevisa.weebly.com/instruction-letter-from-usem.html more of instructions then pamphlet and the I129F copy. thanks! visa now issued but still at post..

Congratulations on your approval!!!! :) Have a safe trip to the US and thanks again for all your help! :)

Yup! Letter just basically included her MNL#. At first, Rossel thought I sent her the packet because of the petition paperwork. Like I said, great idea from USEM. I was also impressed they FOUND her house in her small Barangay! She doesn't have a house number. Hopefully you'll receive the same packet.

Was a copy of all the other forms included as well, like the 325? And all the evidence of the visits? Or was it just the I-129F?

EDIT: Nevermind. See that was answered too. :D

Well that is a giant leap forward! Letters from USEM actually arriving! The letter will be nice for making SLEC happy... if it arrives soon enough.

From what I see it has the website that links to the embassy instructions letter and from there samo-samo
