So both you and your fiance were married before and divorced?

What exactly does the RFE say?

Embassy in Ukraine doesn't require any documents which are in Russian or Ukrainian to be translated, so that's not the problem. I know "must" is that your fiancee also brings her marriage certificate from her previous marriage in addition to her divorce certificate/decree. Maybe that's what they want now? Also maybe if she has underage child they want to see the whole divorce decree, not just a certificate? Those are just my guesses of what they want.

So both you and your fiance were married before and divorced?

What exactly does the RFE say?

Request for evidence: submit proof of the legal termination of the marriages of both marriages me and x wife names and the x-husbands name and my fiancé

such proof would normally be a final absolute divorce decree, death certifice , annulment ect. inorder for the legal termination of marraiges to be considered valid for immigration purposes it must have been registered with a note a divorce nisi is not considered to be evidence of a final divorce

i am not sure we have such a thing as a divorce nisi in Ukraine. Can it be that your divorce in USA isn't final yet? Maybe you got divorce lately and they mean it can be appealed or what? Or maybe after court your attorneys hasn't signed the final still? I heard that in USA you have to wait for half a year after divorce to be eligible for new marriage. I will ask my fiance later today as this sounds strange.

There is really only one type of divorce document issued by Ukraine. It is a simple one page document.

if it is the USC petitioner, make sure you sent in a copy of all your final divorce decrees and that you are past any waiting periods that is required by your state. You need to make sure you were free to marry when you sent in the petition.

For the Ukraine someone also answered this, the simple one page document, which would have needed a translation most likely.

No, every state has it's own divorce laws. For instance, I am in KS and you can remarry here after 30 days. They'd have to check what the laws regarding remarriage in KY are.

9/12/13 I-129F Sent

9/19/13 NOA1
10/9/13 NOA2

11/12/13 NVC Received/Case # Received

With any luck, soon he'll be here with me!
