Question regarding filing form I-130

Hello Everyone,

I had a question in regards to filing form I-130. I will just give a little bit of background on my relationship before I start. I met my husband in London in 2010 when I went there to study abroad. From that point on we started dating and continued a long distance relationship for the past 3 years. Although I have not been able to go back and see him due to completing school, etc. he has come down to see me 6 times in the past three years. He just came down recently and we got married but now he is back in the UK. When filing the I-130, it asks for bona fide evidence to show martial relationship. Unfortunately, we do not have any joint property, bank accounts, children, insurance policies, or anything of that sort. So, I was going to attach an affidavit from my sister, mother, his mother, and a friend of his as well as lots of pictures and emails, texts, facebook messages, calls, etc. back and forth for the past three years. My question is will this be enough evidence? As anyone been in a similar situation?

My husband and I filed a few weeks after our marriage so we had none of the things you mention either. All we sent were three affidavits written by friends/co-workers who knew us as a couple. We were approved with no issues. I took a lot of evidence of our ongoing (long-distance) relationship to the interview but I was not asked to show any of it.

Good luck.

I was in the same situation when we filed and it was accepted. Other than chat logs, hotel receipts and pictures of us together we didn't have a whole lot to send in. Our relationship only went back 8 months when we filed so your 3 years of pictures and logs should be more than enough.
