Kingston Embassy, Issued Visa, and DHL

After visa said issued for a week and no response from emails i sent for at least two weeks, I sent an email to every email address i could find for the embassy in kingston advising this email is a formal complaint, forward to the proper department for review. I got a reply in 40 minutes apologizing for my inconvenience and they would contact someone at dhl to expedite his passport.. after sending about 30 emails in three days with no reply at all..

20 minutes later i got an airbill number, and tracking shows it already available for pick up, and asking me to follow up with them after we got the passport, to make sure we didnt have any issues with pick up

moral of the story is do not sit around waiting for ish to happen, ask questions and dig until you get you answers... my fiance picks up his visa in the morning ... i understand every situation is different, but unfortunately for them, i have way too much time on my hands.....

Wow! That is crazy so this means you and your fiancé lost a whole week together I'm so sorry that happened to you! But I will do as you said. I agree. With this Process you have to take matters into your own hands! So happy you got through. Hope ours is close by. Our approval date was June 28th

we went from two weeks of ready, one week of ap, back to one week of ready and then one week of issued (smh at that mess )

My status has said ready since july 1st. Nothing changed since then.

Congrats on the issuance and delivery of Visa. Unfortunately each case is considered to be different. How often did u email before visa issues? Did u ever contact DOS before issuance? Did DOS say case admin processing CO needs to determine eligibility?

I sent no less than 40 sum emails. Calling DOS got me no where. They said contact the embassy. They embassy wasn't responding to me. I woke up this morning saying eff this I'm filing a complaint. That got someones attention apparently.

I know every case is different. I'm jus saying say on them til u get results. They can't keep hiding behind a keyboard, answering to no one. Thats bs

I saw Rohan at the embassy so I expected him to have received his visa in the same time that I did. Any how congratulations to both of you May God continue to bless you abundantly. I have been in the U.S. for almost 2 weeks now.

omg jand rp!!! thats so funny, he was telling me that someone asked him about being rohandlulu and they were nice and from vj, and i was like really? ####### ever! lol what are the odds, but with all the excitement of the interview approval, i didnt really pay attention, and didnt know of anyone having an interview date same as ours

thank u! he appreciated whatever was said and thought it was cool to have folks rooting for us who didnt know us. ill make sure to tell him u asked about him.

unfortunately there will continue to be a delay, his mom passed a few weeks ago, and her body will be shipped to JA, so hes overseeing the arrangements, i just wanted the k1 done and it finally is..
