?

All historians have a political agenda, including you? Why you referenced a book, I have no idea (actually I do but #######). Maybe American documentaries about Nazi power are less objective than those maybe those made by the BBC? I didn't reply to your previous request for evidence of collision amongst the German populace because there is so much out there I would have to spend several days to post links.

I doubt your motives, but whatever this is the Internet,

Its very important that you respond to any RFE in a timely and accurate manner. (YAY, immigration joke)

Just because there's a Thai flag next to his name doesn't mean he's from Thailand. Geez. I'm not from Canada either.

That is rich coming from you. You wanted to know what my story was because my flag was the Union Jack, but I am living in Japan, my bf is supposedly French ( and gay?). You appear to want to pigeon hole people. Btw, not all Asian people throw up American food. Lots of Japanese people love it.

You said your BF was french. Your profile said the consulate you were applying at was in Tokyo. Fill free to explain.

I was joking about this. Of course they eat Western food. My wife loves American snacks and nearly anything Italian.

Why do you say that the intent was to "push more guns into streets," rather than to pursue the political interests of the NRA membership?. Why do you say "money is their only motive?" Why doesn't this assessment apply to the actions of the NAACP? Sounds like a typical progressive "critque," but I'm interested to see if you can back any of this up. My NRA membership dues are coming up....I need to make an informed descision ;-

You stated that the NRA was interested in pursuing the political interests of the NRA membership? Really, r u serious?

If this was the case, then why did they refuse to consider ANY type of meaningful background check laws//......when the majority of their own NRA membership was in favor of background checks?????

Reason being, the gun manufacturers provide more significant contributions to them than their members!! Again, money IS the motive, the more guns in circulation, the more profit for gun manufacturers.

Then, you state I sound like a "typical progressive critique???

R u familiar with the Heritage Foundation? And. R u familiar with how it is associated with the group "ALEC"? You can google this information on your own and therefore you can judge it from different sources......and not just my so called "progressive side".

Anyways, ALEC is an organization that create template "laws" for legislators to pass and they purportedly attempt to create laws to help further corporate business interests. Nonetheless, their involvement with the Heritage Foundation, a conservative based organization funded by the Koch Brothers, allowed them to further establish the goals and interest of Republican party and these conservative Billionaires...

I hope I haven't lost you yet......but I'm trying to stick to unbias facts that you could easily verify thru multiple sources. I would gladly point you to them, but I didn't want you to think my sources would be left leaning or too bias.

Back to the point......after the SYG laws became known after the Zimmerman incident, the "source" of these laws became widely known. The gun manufacturers did in fact heavily contribute to the Heritage Foundation/ALEC organization and SYG laws were pushed heavily thereafter. Mainly in the back rooms of Republican legislators.......that is the reason many of us never knew about SYG laws until the Zimmerman case came to light.

Notably, The ALEC organization became under a lot of fire for their involvement in creating and backing these gun laws and lot of the corporate sponsors started backing away from their involvement with them. I think you may have recalled all of the media attention about this.

This wasn't what you call a "typical progressive" backlash.....prominent Corporate sponsors, such Pepsi, Kraft, Coca-Cola, distanced themselves from these organization, as they did not want to be tied to organizations that were promoting these gun laws, including SYG laws, especially because they were hot button issue at the time.

The only significant sponsor that stayed on board, was Walmart and the Koch Brothers........for obvious reasons.....Walmart is the biggest supplier of guns in the world.

Again, they can care less about your membership.....MONEY is the ultimate motive in play here my friend.

If you want to make an informed decision about your NRA membership.....feel free to research any of this and tell me where I was wrong or provided false info.....

What's not Thailand? Why would I be a fan of Hitler? Sometimes I think computers should have a breathalyzer connected to the power button.

Why??

Because believed in the rules of Dictatorship, not a democratic society where citizens should feel free to protest their government.

This is a concept you obviously do not understand. And in light of your responses, a concept you obviously cannot even comprehend.

R u his cheerleader?

If you are able to articulate your own opinion on this matter, let's hear it.....

####### are you even talking about? Mr. Big Dog's analogy about Chess and Pigeons is coming to mind. I hope English is your second language, because if it's not, there's something else wrong.

Is that what it is? Thanks for the translation. I pasted it in google translate, and got nothing back. I'm still somewhat lost.

I meant the say, "Hitler believed in a Dictatorship, not a democratic society.

I pretty sure you understood that, but give your inability to respond with any credibility to chose to resort to name calling.

Typical, but expected...LOL!

Then when would you get to post? Before breakfast?

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.
