She is a good woman. This is America and that's how you do it. You follow the law in place at the time of the incident and work to change laws if you don't like them. Though "praying for" legislators to do something is hardly "pushing". The NRA has had great success at pushing through new laws. They never pray about it.

If someone wants the deadly force law to be changed to "unless the person attacking you is under 18 and over 55, weighs less than you, has skittles in his poscket or has old photos which make him look really clean cut and nice" Then you shoudl propose that to your elected representatives.

Just coz one portion of the community does not like a certain law does not mean law is bad.

Just coz few people think the law does not work in their favor does not mean law is bad.

Which law? SYG?

It's bad for one simple reason: it's a "shoot first, ask questions later" law. It makes it very difficult to prosecute anyone who uses that defense.

The shooter will say they were scared for their life. They felt threatened. And generally, the only other person who would be able to argue that .. ends up dead.
