Hi!

Normal processing time is usually 4-6 weeks but if you expedite the application and pay a fee for it you can get in 2-3 weeks. I think It depends on the time of year too. When I ordered my first passport it was during the winter time around December, I didn't expedite it and I got it within two weeks.

Good Luck

My friend got her passport after two weeks, but she didn't asked them to expedite it nor did she pay for it to be expedited. I guess, it depends. My brother received his after 4 weeks. Mine however, I received mine the day after I applied, because it was an emergency. If it's an extreme emergency, you get can it the day that you applied for it or the day after. Goodluck!

On October 2013, our I-129F Refused under 221(g)

So our son and I went back home to the PHL..

Here's my passport timeline:

Passport Application handed in at Draper City Hall: June 25, 2013

Email indicating passport is being processed: July 3, 2013

Email indicating passport has been mailed: July 12, 2013

Passport arrives: July 13, 2013

Passport Card arrives: July 15, 2013

Naturalization Certificate arrives: July 17, 2013 - 3 weeks, 1 day from submission

The acceptance office and the travel.state.gov website said the official response time was 4-6 weeks. The acceptance office said that people were seeing them back as soon as 3 weeks. The last of the three items they mailed me arrived 3 weeks 1 day after the initial submission.

I ordered a normal passport book (no extra pages) and the passport card. I did not expedite anything, and paid $140 + $25.

It's a little bit weird being now COMPLETELY done with immigration. I may yet buy a nice diploma holder for my naturalization certificate, but that's it.

Email indicating passport is being processed: June 25, 2013

Email indicating passport has been mailed: July 12, 2013

Passport arrives: July 15, 2013

Passport Card arrives: July 18, 2013

Naturalization Certificate arrives: July 18, 2013

and yeah I know how you feel HeatDeath, I just updated my SS too. It feels a little weird, feels like there's still something I need to do or collect or save or something for USCIS. laughing.gif

Guys,

I mailed out my passport book and card application on July 19th and I can check status online this morning. It shows as passport locator 9-digit number starting with 25. Does this mean it's being processed in Tuscon, AZ?

Thanks in advance for your response!!
