Allah maaf kare, but Its driving me insane.

I knew I would hear those 2 words...

I see that people all over the internet say about 98% of men go thru this process.

I don't even know who to blame because its basically like a new Law that all men have to go thru this.

May I ask you if your husband has travelled outside of the country or to any other Muslim Country?

Nope he has never traveled outside of Pakistan at all. He doesn't work for the government (I heard that takes longer too) and has a clean criminal record. We haven't gotten any updates at all and it'll be 3 months in a few weeks. :( I hope Allah Tallah sees all of our pains in this holy month of Ramazan and has the embassy speed up the process and maybe even approve all our cases in this holy month. Inshallah!

Omg inshallah it'll speed up fast. Maybe they finally realize the pain we're going through. That is always my first dua that everyone's case gets approved fast and were all with our loved ones. And is it confirmed they said they're speeding up the process now? Omg inshallah! That literally got me so excited hearing this especially after just coming back from praying. Haha!

Well me and a member from this forum went for our husbands interview the same day and we both were told that the process will take about a month.

The other member was the one who told me that the CO told her they are speeding up the process now.

Just wanted to check ... Is this the same message everyone gets who is placed in AP?

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days. Under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act, Immigrant Visas for "Diversity Visas" cannot be issued after September 30th of the year in which you were selected to apply for a Diversity Visa. For example, entrants into the Diversity Visa Program in Fall of 2011 were selected for Diversity Visa 2012 Program, and selectees MUST apply and receive their visa prior to September 30, 2012 otherwise they lose eligibility to receive a Diversity Immigrant Visa, regardless of additional administrative processing. In addition, please note that some immigrant visas may not be able to be issued if the annual numerical limit for that category has been reached.

The CO said AP is faster now? Foreal was it in those exact words?

And I know males go thru AP. BUt they put my wife in AP. They said they need to do some verification and it can take weeks or months.
