Hello VJ members,

Does anybody know the correct format of a letter of intent? I saw somewhere that it's supposed to have an address from the Dallas lockbox? Is this true? Or can we just plain out write our intent and sign and date?

Thank you in advance!

We're using the sample letter in the VJ guidelines (item #5):

And we put the Dallas address on the letter.

Hope that helps!

No, addresses are not required. They are just a formality. You can put the Dallas Lockbox mailing address or put no address at all. You only need to include the pertinent information, that you are free and willing to marry your fiance(e) within 90 days of their arrival to the US with the K-1 visa. And the date and original signatures of course.
