Hi there. I'm wondering what is the wrong information your fiancee in her birthcertificate or NBI clearance?

Right now, I'm having problem also but my birth certificate and NBI clearance has the same information. The conflict is that my surname has ñ.

If the embassy kept the passport of your fiancee that's a good sign. For the 221g applicants that I know of they had this 2 -3 weeks of waiting but well we dont know how long they will approve it but just wait and keep track of your visa.

Hi, I have the same problem.. I had my interview and the consul asked me to get an NBI Clearance (with a.k.a.) for Misharell Kaye Ligero because that was my name in the bc then it was corrected (Misharell Kaye L. Osoteo)

I will go to nbi later but I do not know what should I put in the main section and in AKA. Please help me.. I'm really confused. :(

What was the format of your NBI with aka?

The consul asked me to get an NBI Clearance (with a.k.a.) for Misharell Kaye Ligero

My current name is Misharell Kaye L. Osoteo

In my BC - Misharell Kaye Ligero

My name in bc was corrected and im now using Misharell Kaye L. Osoteo

If I applied for an NBI with aka, what should I put in the main section and what should be in AKA since the instructions was: NBI Clearance (with a.k.a.) for Misharell Kaye Ligero

My dad had the same issue, his birth cert was misspelled or has clerical errors which we corrected. Now, in you NBI certificate, your name now and your name before in your BC should both reflect on your NBI clearance. your aka should be what was written in ur bc as what the consul told you. Anyways, if u go to taft avenue, in the main office, there's a special case booth for you and they help u out. they know what to do if ur unsure

Hi, since this is on the general forums and not on the Philippine sub-forum, you should probably speak English.

To answer your question, go back to the NBI outlet/office and tell them you want an NBI clearance with your current name and to also show your AKA (any other names used).
