when is your priority date and service center?

mine's nov 14 2012. we haven't gotten noa2 yet.

the case is at vsc by the way.

Done with visa interview in Nairobi. I am Ugandan.

i request that you change the topic of the forum to attract more of our fellow africans,

like probably start with the part 'sub saharan africa.' Some people might be skipping it cause like on my cell phone it sure doesn't show the whole topic.

F2a visa category. Interview went well for him and they said we should just wait until AP is complete. Our priority date is Aug 2010. We r past priority date stage. Interview is done, we r in AP. May God deliver us from this pain. Amen

what is Administrative Processing for? I thought by the time they are doing an interview they have done all the processing required? please enlighten me.

AP fo rmost of AFrica seem to range from 3-4 weeks to 2+ years ( or until you give up ) with the average being about 6 months

I have been on this board for years and closely follow the African petitions. AP has gotten more frequent and longer over the years. They are checking your background for both the honesty of things and possible ties especially to entities that have harmful wishes towards the US. This can be a slow thing. Some people have given up ( broken up ) during the wait.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
