Good morning Vietnam!

Good news this morning. I received and email last night (Vietnam night/USA day) that our I-130 petition was approved. Took about 120 days from NOA1 to NOA2. We did have an RFE which slowed things down by about a month. Anyway, thanks for all the support here in the Vietnam regional forum. Hopefully that continues through the next step of the process at NVC.

Those that are still waiting. Be patient. If you did all your paperwork correctly and took time to do things right, collected all the needed supporting documents then your time will come soon.

USCIS:
03/14/2013 - I-130 Sent
03/18/2013 - NOA1

06/05/2013 RFE issued

06/25/2013 RFE recieved in mail

06/28/2013 RFE requested docs. sent to USCIS from abroad

07/08/2013 RFE entered into USCIS system as received and "RFE Review" status online

07/16/2013 NOA2 received by email

07/19/2013 Email from USCIS stating case file has been sent to NVC

07/27/2013 Hard copy of NOA2 recieved abroad (Vietnam) by mail

NVC:
08/02/2013 Received NVC case number via email

08/02/2013 Sent DS-3032 via emial

08/05/2013 Paid AOS ($88) fee

08/19/2013 DS-3032 accepted by NVC

08/26/2013 Paid IV ($230) fee

09/04/2013 Completed new DS-260 Online in place of the old (DS-230 paper form)

09/10/2013 I-864 Sent

10/04/2013 Check list

11/02/2013 Check list

12/14/2013 Case Complete

12/30/2013 Interview Scheduled for Feb 25 2014

US Consulate HCMC, Vietnam

02/25/2014 I-R1 Immigrant Visa interview (APPROVED!!)

03/06/2014 Visa delivered

Congratulation! I also get good news yesterday! I got email from NVC that my case have been completed and will be notify all party as soon as interview date has been schedule!

Regarding your RFE issued! I put down my wedding date is different from marriage certificate but I think that the wedding invitation that I include with I-130 bail me out! Thanks God!

We included a wedding invitation it had the dare of our ceremony...which is different than the date on the marriage certificate. They is why they issued the RFE. They wanted an explaination WHY the dates were different.

Anyway.... good luch with your interview. Any tips you can give for the NVC stage feel free to let us know.

Aug. 21, 2013 ....Husband (Petitioner) paid AOS bill $88.00 Online - Wife (Beneficiary) email DS-3032 to NVC assigned Husband as Agent to received Mails from NVC

Aug. 23, 2013 ....AOS bill status: "Paid"

Sep. 04, 2013 ....Wife got email from NVC, DS-3032 Accepted.

Sep. 05, 2013 ....Husband got IV Bill by email from NVC, paid $230.00 online.

Hopefully I will get interview date notice in next few months! Always wish for the best!

Good luck to everyone in the same situation!

Regarding TomVan! Did you called in check with them! After 30-45 and you couldn't track you MSC......... I would call in ask them to see what going on! I hope you get good news soon!

In the past 3 months, I called the USCIS about 6 times and I did the total of 4 Infopass. The last Infopass was on Monday 07/15 at Mount Laurel, NJ. The supervisor was very nice. She told me that they have about a thousand case pending at their office, and that the people over there even have to work overtime on Saturday. I think I just have a very bad-luck this year.
