i sent the package to chicago and everything went fast. finger prints, employment authorization, social security and finaly on aug.12 the interview in miami, the man told me that i was approved and i should receive the greencard by email, he did not stamp my passport because they did not have the FBI background yet. so now is almost december and i did not receive nothing yet, and i just found out the my case is on the missouri service center. can somebody let me know what's going on? thank you very much and sorry for my english.

Im just wondering why they gonna tell you that you were approved and will receive the green card if your name is not cleared yet by FBI??? they did not tell you about this name check???

yes,like, we were aproved, but pending by the fbi background.he told me...you going to receive your greencard on your mail as soon as we get the fbi background, offcourse if my name is clean. i hope so.

Same thing happened with us. Approved June 20, 2006. Greencard not received until November 20, 2006. that's 5 additional months for name-check processing after our interview. and we were lucky...some are stuck there a lot longer than us.
