Hey i am new in the forum i would like to say that i am happy to find this i have learend a lot here so thank you guys

background i am married for 6 mounths from 1/22/2013 came with a b2 visa that expired 4/2/2012

my wife she is a us citizen that dont make inuff money to support me

Now for my qeustions:

1. my mother in law agreed to be my sponser she have 3 years tax return for 2010-2012 for 45,000 $ she is no longer work there

but for this year of 2013 she is self employed selling on ebay and her yearly income is about 20.000$ but she don't have any proff of income yet

is she good to be my sponser and i just write self employed on the I-864? (her house hold size inculde me is 2) the requriment is 19,387$

2. what should i fill up in part 1? is she the only joint sponser?

For self-employed, they are going to want to see the income on a tax return. She could try and send documentation that proves she currently makes $20k, but it might be a very difficult thing to pull off. You can either try it that way and have another joint sponsor lined up in case you get an RFE, or you can find another joint sponsor to use right from the start.

The USC spouse/petitioner checks off 1a on their I-864, and the joint sponsor will check 1d on theirs.

Yes, you will need the assets. What to include to prove assets worth depends on the type of assets- for a bank account, a year's worth of statements. For property, a recent professional evaluation (property tax does NOT count).

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
