Two interview schedule for k1 visa

My fiance was interviewed twice different days. The second interview lasted about 3 hours, they probably asked him 100 questions and at the end of the interview, he had to be sworn in (raise left arm) to tell the truth and they read the questions and answers. Well to make the story short, after the two day interview they did not tell him at the end of his second interview if he was approved or not. They just told him that they will forward his papers (passpost, affidavit, our pictures etc...) to the Visa department and they will give him a call if needs be within two to three weeks. We were wondering if he is approved or not???? He did NOT receive a 221g or anything like that. They just said to wait 2 to 3 wks. What are your thoughts???

You can check the DoS status online as well, to some extent.

I echo the wanting to know which embassy this was. Either it's a high-fraud country, or it's likely they find something suspicious about your relationship.

The country is Philippines! the second interview went well my fiance and CO were even joking with each other. We did not get a letter of denial or anything like that, they just told him they were forwarding his paperwork, pictures, passport to visa center.. They told him he can go home now and if we don't hear anything from the VISA center and that we should give them a call. I check the visa application status and it says "Admin Processing"

Weird... did he ASK in the interview if he was approved or not? Agree with calling DoS to clarify...

Yes, he asked the CO if he was approved and he said he cannot say and to wait 2wks but yet they took all his docs.... I heard that some CO will not tell you if you were approved but will likely tell you if your were denied. If something was wrong with the interview, they would've given him a 221g or 212 form. Nothing in that nature.. It's nerve racking!!
