I've always believed Christianity was standardized into the Roman Catholic Church as a means of standardizing worship and therefore obedience among the Roman Empire. Obviously some of the existing pagan beliefs had to integrated into the church to make the transition easier and therefore more palatable to the populous. The Romans did this before on a smaller scale with Greek mythology. Only stands to reason they would think to try again. Am I close?

Close enough. The Roman Empire was the basis for the authority of the Pope over the Church, giving him the ability to legitimize any would be secular authority. It didn't matter that it was all based on a forgery, but it still holds some sway today, a thousand years later. Otherwise, the Church would have faded into oblivion as already was happening, with the passing of the first millennium. It many ways, you could probably thank Mohammed, for giving the Church it's raison d'être.

But there was a period of reconciliation at the end of apartheid that helped in this transition. It's something we are missing in this country.

Secondly the White's were vastly outnumbered in South Africa, so the oppressors wanting to reconcile was much stronger.

Over 11, 000 dead African Americans at the hands of other African Americans since the TM incident happened. Yet one white man who a jury said acted in self defense is the focal point of our nation, and is the most critical issue in the black community today.

To be exact, the shameful truth is that 93% of African-American murders are committed by other African-Americans. That is breathtakingly awful when you consider how incensed the African-American community is about the Trayvon tragedy, no matter what you believe about Zimmerman’s guilt.

Let’s do the gruesome math, not out of morbidity, but because it manifests the incredible self-centered insanity of people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

They will fight over food if there's not enough. When you visit a park or the zoo, there's a big sign that says, "Don't feed the animals." Funny thing is we turn right around and pay people to do nothing more than sit around in free houses watching TV, eating, and procreating.

Additionally, we've guaranteed natural selection end as well. No longer must a woman pick and choose who to mate with. The capable providers of stability and security necessary to ensure her offspring will grow successfully are no longer the fathers of the children but the state itself. When a man isn't required to be responsible for his children - and someone else picks up the slack - the burden of selection on the woman is nullified and children of all types will grow to reproductive ages themselves.

I say end all forms of welfare immediately. Give everyone a gun and ammo and let the problem sort itself out. I am impressed with this logic, I too am willing to learn new ideas.

Lets see

1- Social Programs - I would end means tested benefits that did not require you to do something to get them. You would have to get out of the bed in the morning and show up some where and do something, make it a pain in the ###. I would also require young un wed mothers to report somewhere to live in a structured environment, take classes and work in order to receive benefits . No more checks showing up at the house every time you get knocked up. You want to have a baby ? Better choose daddy wisely. Same with Farm subsides, Natl flood insurance etc etc.. My knife would cut long and deep.

2. Military- Guard the oil Fields and otherwise let them have at it. Bring the boys home and cut that budget back to a National Defense force.

3. Eliminate the IRS- Set a baseline that is not taxed then tax everything after that at a certain %. No deductions no accountants

4. Illegal- Anyone caught hiring illegals gets a 10K fine first time, 100,000 2nd, then jail time . end of story. All the kids getting benefits in those counties-Go pick peaces or starve.

5-Apologize to all the nations we have Fed over. Start with Vietnam. Let everyone know,we will stay out of your business but if you mess with us we will hunt you down and kill you like fleas. Have special teams that assassinate terrorist and those that support them
