Hi!

My application was received and the first NOA was given June 26th. However, today, I received notification via email saying:

"On July 16, 2013, your notice I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) was processed and mailed to the address on record. If you have not received it within 30 days of July 16, 2013, contact customer service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move while your case is pending, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283."

This seems way to short and it says it was processed and not approved. However, I wasn't ever given a decision that said denied either? Does this mean that I'm lacking information? This is confusing! I don't know whether to be totally bummed or super excited because I wasn't expecting anything for 5 more months. Thanks for the help! :)

Sounds like an RFE to me. Can you list exactly what you sent in with your petition?

What about photocopy of the boarding pass for each trip, photocopy of every pages of the petitioner and beneficiary passports where the passports stamps of arrival and departure of the trip can be found...we included that in our I-129f package, no rfe for us....just my observation.

Did you receive the hard copy of your NOA1 notice yet, or just the email? This status update says a notice was mailed.

Also, the online status updates have been known to be wrong or show an update that appears to be unrelated to your case.

I haven't received the paper copy because I think it was sent to El Salvador where I was living previously. I called and changed my address on June 21st and the NOA1 was June 26th, so I'm not sure why I didn't receive it but I've been watching the mail carefully!

Hmmm...good information! I really appreciate everyone's replies so far...it's all so mysterious and so important all at the same time!

Well, I changed my mailing address July 16, and as soon as it processed my Case Status went back to Initial Review. I called to see if they would resend my NOA1 but the CS said they generally dont and it isnt needed for the interview or anything. Then today I received the envelope and the NOA1 from the origianl mailing. WOOHOO!! The CS confirmed the 2nd notification sent was saying my mail was returned. So all is well, hope it turns out to be the same for you. By the way, I did the address change on the USCIS site.

I think ours was about the address change, too because a few days later later received my original NOA1 that had been initially routed to my first address. However, my status at USCIS still says Post-Decision Communication. I haven't received any other mail. I should probably call and get them to "fix" my online status and just verify that everything is fine. Thanks for the feedback! :)
