Simple question. I've filed the I129f and I'm just curious to know where my interview will take place when the time comes. I live in San Antonio, Texas. I was curious because I couldn't find any K1 interview reviews for San Antonio. I mostly saw AOS interviews and a few naturalization interviews. Any ideas anyone? I'm curious to see K1 interview reviews from those who live in San Antonio.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Thanks for responding Vanessa. So now I'm really confused. I was under the impression that I would have to be interviewed as well to show things like evidence of support etc... Am I off basis?

You're very welcome and no you as the USC don't have to go to an interview. Only the foreign fiancé. This will be your last final step. You will have to provide supporting documents that your fiancé either has to send to the embassy before the interview or has to bring those along to the interview. That depends on the country your fiancé is from. Every country handles things different. But you definitely don't go to an interview when you filed a K1 ;)

Oh, another little note... do check reviews for your fiancé's local embassy where she will be interviewed. Some (few) embassies prefer, if not require, the petitioner to be present in order to approve the visa. Most of the time, you don't need to be there, but it pays to be aware of how the interviews tend to go.
