I know this is pretty common (CSC is processing I130). They are asking for a marriage certificate...nowhere does it say "copy". Should I go ahead and send a certified copy (a copy worked for my approved K3...we are still waiting for interview :( )?

Also, there is a paragraph on name difference (probably something common they put but i want to be sure) which indicates the submitted documentation and petition should match. Their request for our marriage certificate states it is for myself and spouse with my last name (not her maiden name which is what is found on the marriage certificate). I don't get this part...doesn't the marriage certificate showing her maiden name (also listed on i-130) prove this?

Thanks for any help.

Did you already submit a photocopy of the marriage certificate with your original petition? If so they can request an original certified copy if they see fit.

I know my marriage certificate has my maiden name on it. That seems more the norm then not. I don't get what they are after either from their wording
