Unfortunately it's time to play everyone's favorite game, "The Waiting Game" :(

Met in person : 2009-02-24

Married : 2012-07-17
I-130 Sent : 2013-01-23
I-130 NOA1 : 2013-01-28
NOA2 : 2013-05-16

NVC Received : 2013-06-10
Pay AOS Bill : 2013-06-25
Return I 864: 2013-06-26
Return DS 3032: 2013-07-01

Genesis 2:22-24
Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman, ' for she was taken out of man." For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

I got the NOA2 on July 8. I didn't hear anything by July 16, so I sent an email and got an automatic response. I waited until two days ago (July 23), receiving nothing, and I called. The telephone wait was a little long, but they were very nice. They said that they already sent the paperwork to the embassy on July 19.

I don't know if my emailing helped speed the process, but it can't hurt to call. They may already have sent it to the embassy and just not notified you. They were very nice.

Ours was approved 2 months ago and we're still waiting for our case number. I already sent an email to nvc 5 days ago and still got nothing.

As of now, all we have to do is wait smile.png

I am sorry to say that you are in the same boat many of us were in for a while.

being that you are on a cr1 path, it is a little different

the local offices have been quite messy in sending the file to nvc. it is quite possible that yours went to nrc (national records center).. do some advanced searches and you will see .. it happened to me as well.

take an infopass.. preload yourself with questions you will find here on vj.. look up darnell, you will find his experience in detail there
