RFE

Hi everyone. I just checked the status of my case on the website (I don't even know why! i wasn't expecting to see anything new!) and I saw that they mailed me a RFE today. I'm so frustrated! I got an RFE for the k1 visa too, nothing ever seems to go as planned at the first try! I wonder why it is, it might be because I sent vaccination records, but not the official form (although I was told by them that this was OK; since I left my medical at my POE!). If it's that, i really don't want to have to pay and get shots again

If you got a RFE while adjusting after a K1... why was it?

also, I have my biometrics tomorrow morning. I thought that the biometrics being scheduled meant that the case was moving.

It most be very very frustating but see the bright you are happily married and together wait and see, maybe is something less complicated. Usually sending JUST the vaccination sheet ALONE is fine (I did it myself and never had an rfe) but sometimes, if the vaccines are mark as "incomplete" (even when you have it all), in some cases the USCIS wants a transcript where it states that you have it all. This transcript is made by a civil surgeon and usually cost no more than $20. In the worst scenario, sometimes the medical results "get lost" in some point between the airport and the USCIS facility. Is not the beneficiary's fault, theirs but they end up sending you an rfe requestion a new set of medical results. In that case you need to go to a civil surgeon and have it all again and send the seal envelope. This the worst scenario and very unlikely to happen. So try not to worry, maybe is something else!!
