Hey guys, I feel bad starting a new thread for this only, but I'm desperate! I keep calling the NVC and I'm getting the sound as if the number is disconnected! Does that mean its too busy or what? I will keep trying to call back, but its very strange, I thought at first I was calling the wrong number. I thought about calling the DoS instead but it is after 5 (just barely!)

I'm calling 603 334 0700

We met when Heather travelled to Egypt to be an au pair!

Our K1 Visa Journey:

12/19/12- NOA1 -VSC

--- moved to "another office" 5/24/13

--- moved to "local office" 5/29/13

--- "is now being processed at a USCIS office" 5/30/13 ... what??

5/30/13- Transfer to TSC

6/18/13- NOA2

7/16/13- NVC Assigned Case #

7/29/13- Case Arrived at Embassy

7/31/13- Packet 3 Received (completed and sent back in 5 days)

1/16/14- Interview Assigned

1/21/14- Interview

2/03/14- Visa Issued!!

4/09/14- Entry into America (JFK)

4/23/14- MARRIED in local courthouse

4/29/14- AoS packet completed and mailed

5/02/14- NoA for AoS received

5/09/14- Biometrics Appointment Notice Received

6/04/14- Biometrics Appointment

7/30/14- EAD/AP Combo Card Received in Mail

Oh, thanks for letting me know! I was so confused because it didn't sound like a busy signal... I guess I will email them... anyone have experience with emailing them and know how long it usually takes? Hopefully not too bad..

I'm calling 603 334 0700

Dial 1 before the number (i.e. 1(603)-334-0700. I am actually waiting for someone to answer my call as I write this. Have been holding for 10 minutes so far...

Huh, I did try the number with the 1 as well, and I didn't think I was ever getting a "busy" tone... but I'll try first thing tomorrow and see if that makes a difference, maybe it WAS just a busy tone I was getting...

NVC has shipped a lot to Egypt lately. Maybe one is yours. When you reach NVC and they give you a date they sent your package out then you can track it.

They say to call very first thing when they open or late at night. I called this morning, first thing and got through injust under 10 mins

Yup, this is right. I got through around 10:30 last night. Didn't bother holding since USCIS said my case hadn't been sent over yet but at least it wasn't a busy tone!

No luck again this morning, I'm starting to think they hate my phone.

Actually, I'm trying with all my resources to KEEP my file from being sent to Egypt... So you're link makes me nervous. :( I'm not interested in waiting for untold number of months in the black hole embassy over there. We're trying to get a transfer to another embassy, which is why I'm so keen on contacting them before it is sent somewhere.

Just wanted to update, I kept calling them and I was lucky enough to have reached them at about 3:30 pm, what I would assume is busy time for them! Just keep calling guys... I was having no luck when I was calling every hour or so, I started calling repeatedly every minute and that is when I got in, I must have just slipped in between some other calls. ;)

And we got our case number and we have NOT been shipped off to Egypt yet.. whew! Load off my mind...

i want to ask something ... how long befor u get mail for ur appointment in the embassy i will be Glade if someone tell me !
i wait that they update the Immigrant Visa Interview Schedule today is 5 september and still not updated yet . some ppl say that u get mail Befor the appointment with 4 week . is that True ?
