Didn't say he was scary, I said he's scary looking. People are intimidated by him if they don't know him. I'm not one of them because he's treated me with respect since the day I got here.

We were talking about my home town and he mentioned he'd never been to Canada. I told him he should visit. He said "with my past, there's no way they'd let me get a passport."

I didn't ask questions, but I believe him.
