So we got our RFE email on July 11th and today it was already in the mail. We were in the second batch that got transferred to Texas on June 21st. As I expected they didn't like it that I forgot to say yes or no to question 2, part c in the petition regarding my fiancées criminal history. So that's an easy fix right?

If there were more issues it would have been mentioned as well right? They don't send an RFE now and later another one cuz they noticed something else is missing?

Also they sent the official RFE letter and the page of the petition itself where the question that isn't answered is marked by them. Do we fill out the RFE sheet only or do we also make the correction on the petition sheet? I don't wanna make any mistakes again

Yes, you need to make the correction. Send that with the RFE and you're good. Sounds like it's all they need to. Piece of cake.

I made the same mistake, but caught it immediately afterwards and sent them an updated page. Hopefully it got matched up as to avoid an RFE. We will see.

I'm just worried after we respond we get hit with another RFE. If all they requested now was to answer that question does that mean everything else was good to go??

They are supposed to list everything they need on the first RFE, and usually that is what they do There have been a few instances, though, when a second RFE was sent requesting something else. That is rare, though, and only happens if the adjuctator missed it the first time only to see a need for it upon a second review.

Honestly, considering the things I read about how Texas handles our files, I would NOT be surprised if something like that happened lol
