K1- AP 221(g) because medical records not present during my interview

Hi VJ Members,

Im new here.Been reading forums here for quite sometimes now (not a single day since then i dnt come and check the new threads.lol) I just want to ask if anyone here have experienced my situation or just share your thoughts about my case,would be much appreciated,also i want to share my experienced from slmec and usem. Got my interview last july 8, 2013 all went smooth with the CO, neither he said im approve or not but told me that they dnt have my medical from slmec yet so he told me to sit down and wait for my # to be flash on the screen board,after waiting for maybe 10 minutes my # flash on window 72,the lady there gave me

221g form -"from applicant(s)"

"medical examination results for you" box is check.

No other requirements needed for me to provide, the lady at the window 72 said just wait for our call whenever we received your medical records here or wait for 2go to text you, i wanted to ask her if im approve or not, but as soon as i was about to ask ,she immediately said u heard me, just wait for u to be contacted u may go home now.Called SLMEC the very next day and a lady there said it was forwarded July 08,2013,i said well madam that was my interview date,the CO said they dnt have it and she said well we have deliveries in the morning and also at 3pm.Till now my status on ceac still on AP, its been really hard for me and my Fiancee,all this waiting,BTW for everyone to know,how hard we've been through, i got positive on the sputum culture at slmec for tb (its kinda embarrassing to mention,sorry guys),So it left us no choice but for me to be treated at slmec for 6 months,from tarlac city to manila,i travelled everyday on weekdays just to take meds from slmec ,resigned from my job for almost 5 yrs.Not used to depend 100% to my fiancee as far as financial concern is,It was hard for both of us,but still im blessed that i have a loving and understanding fiancee. we stayed and we will remain stronger for the years to come together.Im still on AP for a week now after my interview.For some of you out there waiting for ur visa to be release or under AP,pls be patient,God is good.It will come on His perfect time.Thank you VJ's for giving me the opportunity to share my visa journey.Good luck to all of us here on our visa journey! Hi there, sis. We have the same experience for that matter (we might seen each other in person, classmate) and I'm now waiting for the vaccinations because I just had my retake of medical last July 11. I'm wondering if this will be problem on my interview, I hope and pray not.

May I ask how long they gave you your interview date after your vaccinations and releasing? I heard they prioritize spouse and family petition than fiancee visa but I dont know if thats true.

Just be patient on waiting. I know 2 of our 'classmate' got 221g form too and they are approved after 2-3 weeks. So hang in there.

sis, retake medical exam was june 21,2013, got my vaccination july 4, 2013, my interview at usem was july 8, 2013. medical exam was not present during my interview, so i got 221 (g) stating USEM doent have my medical results during my interview. even if 100% slec told us it will be there on or before my interview. Nothing to be worry about we had treated with TB, so what?! were truth and honest about

be patient normally it take a week or more to get sched for vaccination for DOT patient , more than 2 weeks for me,pls let me know the whole story. . . . .so i can tell u further details.

sis, when u know ur vaccination date for sure. . . .(me , after a 2 weeks out of DOT, I scheduled mine, i was wrong about that, or SLEC? not sure, nothing u can do when it comes to the CO "we dnt have ur medical results ")u can schedule ur own interview at the USEM,if u want to before ur vaccination day or SLEC would give u ur interview date, on the releasing area after u received ur CD, they will ask u if u have ur interview yet or not. give them a 2-4 weeks(right now, as far as our experienced just to be sure) just pls avoid the ";221g (medical results,SLEC,still have it ) for further delay of ur visa issuance, im not sure,I dnt know, its just purely my experienced sis, SLEC told me/fiancee that the medical results will be forwarded at the USEM and no problem, just saying thats our case right now delaying my visa issuance because SLEC didnt forward our medical results WHEN they told us IT WILL BE THERE ON MY INTERVIEW" " NO PROBLEM " GILBERT @ DOT,SHIELA @ DOT in person.Right on my face they said no problem! It will be there! Guess what?! it wasnt there. . . .just saying sis. . . .u will still make the final decision on whatever u want to do,Schedule ur interview after ur immunizatiion or before ur immunization?! hope this will help you make ur decision.Good Luck and GOD BLESS.

Hi sis. I read your comments and suggestions and thank you so much for helping me. Anyway, I supposed to call today to know if I can have my schedule of my vaccinations and well they dont know yet because they will be the one to call. They say it really takes time on our situation. Well, I got that part and its just weird because for the 2 classmates that we had they got their after 1 week only (they are spouse visa for that matter). So I will wait for tomorrow or next week for their call but I will definitely follow up mine.

So, you mean you can schedule your own interview on releasing day? Well, thank you for your experience too I will know what to do if its 3 days is the interval of releasing and interview date, I will not buy that. I'm glad I read this forum because I thought the sooner the better but its not the issue now. I'll make sure that there is a long interval date after they release me to avoid that 221g. Actually, its an advantage to us because I'm still waiting for my fiance's updated documents. Hehehe.

Yes, I will call them but next week. Oh, ok. Thank you for the heads up info. It's too much for all of us gosh. I will see what are the available days for interview before I schedule. We never know SLEC has better date.

Ours went to AP after the interview and then the sec day READy like yours says now then 6days later went back to AP but call DOS coz even though it was saying READY they used to tell me Am under AP good luck hope yours mean ready as it stated
