Slippery slope. You start giving people guns and they'll start becoming dependent on those hand outs. The guns save lives guys must hate GZ

I'm assuming he'll empower another private citizen to take back the neighborhood once Holder returns his gun.

I mean, we can only hope right?

Yeah cause that worked so well.

I mean, we can only hope right?

I would hope so.

When the police destroyed my gun after I was convicted of a misdemeanor crime I simply bought a new one. Way to go, cops. Getting guns off the streets!

Good point. Clearly not an effective system.

Exactly.

They were pretty hyped up about it too. "We got a gun off the streets today." Way to go, Barney.

And hence the reason he doesn't want a background check.

Well, that's special.

I have a CHL.

I don't want background checks because I don't like the government having the power to decide who can and can't exercise constitutionally-protected rights. Kind of waters down that whole constitution thing. I find it amazing that otherwise intelligent, rational people believe giving the government the power to "think it over" when it comes to our rights is a good idea.

Not sure which amendment it'll be for most people to get ticked off to the point of changing it, but the 2nd isn't guaranteed, the 4th isn't guaranteed, the 9th and 10th are long gone, and it seems the 5th is next. Perhaps when they toss out the 3rd and you get house guests you'll start to care.

Wake up, America.

You don't believe in these pieces of paper anyways.

I don't believe pieces of paper will stop people from taking illegal action. Only armed people stop others from taking illegal action. I'm a firm believer in the ideals behind the papers. Murder laws on the books? Great. But that paper isn't what stops people from murdering.
